The evaluation is done as follows

Snow-reliable rating Zillertal Arena – Zell am Ziller/Gerlos/Königsleiten/Hochkrimml

All major slopes are fully covered with artificial snow. Due to the high altitude (almost everything above 1,300 m), the area is very snow-sure. The run through the Wilde Krimml (connection from Zell am Zill to Gerlos) depends on natural snow, but is situated at over 2,000 m. The valley run to Zell am Ziller ends at 580 m, but thanks to state-of-the-art snow cannons, it is usually open. Large storage ponds, such as the one in Zell am Ziller in the Rosenalm area, ensure guaranteed snowmaking.
