The Zillertal Arena ski area is very well suited for beginners in several locations. At the Rosenalm in Zell am Ziller, there is a large beginner area with drag lifts and covered conveyor belts. In Gerlos, beginners start at the large practice area at the Arena Center, including a covered conveyor belt and the easy, wide slopes at the Ebenfeld-X-Press chairlift. In Königsleiten, practice lifts in the valley are available for beginners. The Gerlosplatte is also very suitable for beginners, with several practice lifts and easy runs. The connections between the resorts are only possible via intermediate or advanced slopes.
