Highlights:

Skiing beneath the volcano, magnificent views of the landscape, Happy Valley, ideal for beginners, panoramic view of Mt. Ngauruhoe volcano, excellent slope grooming, very friendly staff, highest restaurant in New Zealand, free water in all restaurants

Negative points:

No chairlifts with weather protection covers, no snowpark, very susceptible to weather conditions (the area can be closed quickly for one or more days), very crowded on weekends
