Ski resorts Australia
Evaluation
The dry ski area Vertikal Snow Sports in Canberra was the first of its kind in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Skiing and snowboarding took place on a rotating belt, similar in principle to a treadmill in a gym. It was completely reopened in 2017 and permanently closed again on 17 December 2023 and is no longer in operation.
