Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Slope grooming/preparation Vail
The slope preparation is excellent.
Every day, a "white carpet" is laid over the slopes, providing perfect conditions until late afternoon. Most of the runs on the Front Side are groomed. In the Back Bowls and Blue Sky Basin, only the connections to the lifts are groomed. Everything else is open ski terrain.
General note: By new snow, an optimal slope preparation is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
