View of the volcano, highest ski area in New Zealand, excellent slope grooming, great variety of slopes, ideal for families and beginners, recommended off-piste areas, very friendly staff, free water in all restaurants

Negative points:

No chairlifts with weather protection covers, no accommodations in the ski area, very susceptible to weather conditions (the area can be closed quickly for one or more days), very crowded on weekends
