Beginners Tūroa – Mt. Ruapehu
The Tūroa ski area offers the ideal practice area Alpine Meadow with a magic carpet and platter lift at the base station. The Parklane triple chairlift takes you to the Wintergarden practice area with a platter lift in the middle of the ski area. From here, you can take a very easy valley run back to the base station. This makes the ski area very suitable for beginners. Advanced beginners can also use the wide, blue slopes between Giant and Wintergarden in some sections.
