Advanced skiing/powder snow skiing Treble Cone

Treble Cone is famous for its legendary off-piste terrain and amazing views over Lake Wānaka and the Southern Alps. Challenging runs distributed around the ski resort attract experts to Treble Cone. Endless powder slopes can be found in Saddle Basin and Home Basin. Gates provide access to the extreme slopes in Matukituki Basin. From the mountain station of the Saddle Basin Quad, you can climb up to the summit at 2,088 metres via the Summit Hike. The extreme Motatapu Basin is also accessed through gates. However, you need to climb for quite a bit here on the Walk Out.
