Beginners can carve down easy slopes from the highest point in Australia all the way to the valley. Almost the entire ski area can be accessed via easy slopes. Beginners feel especially comfortable at Fridays Flat. There are several conveyor belts and a four-seater chairlift dedicated to beginners. Thredbo also has a ski school that specializes in returning skiers and beginners.
