Beginners will find an ideal practice area with several conveyor lifts right at the base. There is also a dedicated beginner ski pass available here. At the Sugarbowl Express and Alta chairlifts, there are also very easy beginner slopes. From the Curvey Basin and Shadow Basin mountain stations, slightly more advanced beginners can return to the base station via easy slopes. This means that almost the entire ski area can be explored on beginner-friendly slopes. The local ski school also offers a variety of ski courses.
