For skiing and snowboarding, there are 10 km of slopes available. 3 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,326 and 1,753 m.
The Temple Basin ski area is located in Arthur's Pass National Park in the Southern New Zealand Alps. Access to the ski area is different from usual – there is no road leading up. From the parking lot, it's about a 45-minute walk – equipment can be transported up free of charge by goods lift. At the top, slopes of all difficulty levels are available.
