Gastronomy/Eating at the ski resort Sunday River

You can find good places to stop for a break at the base stations and on North Peak in the ski resort of Sunday River. There are self-service outlets (food court) and table-service restaurants. From burgers to burritos, sushi and noodle soups, there is something for every taste. There are also waffle stalls and a food truck. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants or bars on the various mountain peaks.

The Mountain Room @ Peak Lodge

In the Peak Lodge on North Peak at 645 metres

The Mountain Room is the highest restaurant in the ski resort of Sunday River and offers a very good menu, fully stocked bar and friendly service. It also has a terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains. There is also a self-service Food Court in the Peak Lodge.

Sliders Restaurant

In the Jordan Hotel at 595 metres

Sliders Restaurant features an attractive menu and a good view over the mountains. It has a fully stocked bar and a large sun terrace. The Northern Lights Café is also located in the Jordan Hotel.

South Ridge Lodge

At the South Ridge base station at 305 metres

The South Ridge Lodge is located at the central hub of the ski resort of Sunday River. You can find everything under one roof here: Foggy Goggle (American), Cho Sun (Japanese and Korean), Cilantro Burritos (Mexican), Mountain Grocer (sandwiches) and a large self-service Food Court. The highlight is the Foggy Goggle on the upper floor. You can enjoy very good food here and excellent drinks. The Foggy Goggle is also known for its very good après-ski.

Shipyard Brew Haus

In the White Cap Lodge at 250 metres

The Shipyard Brew Haus serves the famous Shipyard Bier from Maine’s biggest brewery. The restaurant offers American classics and a fully stocked bar. You can warm up beside the open fire on the terrace.
