Beginners Steinplatte-Winklmoosalm – Waidring/​Reit im Winkl

The Winklmoosalm is a perfect area for beginners. Flat and wide slopes provide a more gentle introduction to this wonderful winter sport. There are tow ropes, tow lifts or chairlifts. There is even a special cheaper ski pass that only includes the Winklmoosalm side. The valley run to Seegatterl is manageable for advanced beginners (easy, groomed ski route). On the Steinplatte side, the majority of the resort is also suitable for beginners. The easy slopes at the Kapellen 8-person chairlift are particularly worth a mention. In the valley in the village of Waidring, there is also the Hausbergarena area. However, the beginners’ area is not linked to the slopes in the ski resort of Steinplatte.
