Beginners Steinplatte Winklmoosalm – Waidring/Reit im Winkl
The Winklmoosalm is the perfect area for beginners. Gentle and wide slopes make it easy to get started in the wonderful world of winter sports. You can choose between rope lift, drag lift, or chairlift for transportation. There is even a special, more affordable ski pass just for the Winklmoosalm side. The valley run to Seegatterl is manageable for an advanced beginner (easy, groomed ski route).
On the Steinplatte side, most of the area is also very suitable for beginners. Especially noteworthy are the easy slopes at the 8-seater Kapellen chairlift. In the valley in the village of Waidring, you will also find the Hausbergarena with the beginner area Triassic Kinderland. However, the beginner area is not connected to the slopes of the Steinplatte ski area.
