Ski lifts at the ski resort St. Anton/St. Christoph/Stuben/Lech/Zürs/Warth/Schröcken – Ski Arlberg
The Ski Arlberg resort, with the merger of St. Anton am Arlberg/St. Christoph/Stuben and Lech/Zürs/Warth/Schröcken for the 2016/2017 winter season, now offers almost exclusively modern lifts.
With the Flexenbahn (10-seater gondola lift), the connection from Stuben (Alpe Rauz) to Zürs and back has been established. This means that the largest ski area in Austria is now fully interconnected. The additional 10-seater gondola lifts Albonabahn II, Trittkopfbahn I and II quickly take guests up to the mountain stations.
Modern lifts and cable cars are available to guests in St. Anton am Arlberg, St. Christoph, and Stuben. A highlight is the Funitel Galzigbahn with its Ferris wheel at the entrance. Regular investments are made and guests are presented with innovations.
The ski area around Lech, Zürs, Warth, and Schröcken mainly offers modern lifts and cable cars. The chairlifts are mostly equipped with weather protection covers and heated seats. Individual platter lifts and practice lifts are also available for beginners near the valley. Since the 2013/2014 season, the 10-seater gondola lift Auenfeldjet has connected the ski areas of Lech/Zürs and Warth/Schröcken. A bottleneck is the Rüfikopfbahnen in Lech, where you can expect waiting times during busy periods. The Schlosskopfbahn and Rotschrofenbahn are still on the modernization list.
