The ski area at Sonnenkopf is very well suited for families. The practice area Schneemannland at the mountain station helps with the first turns and is beautifully designed. The local ski school offers ski courses. There are numerous easy slopes around the mountain station. In addition, a toboggan run leads from the mountain station to the mid-station of the Sonnenkopfbahn.

Practice area Schneemannland
Right next to the mountain station of the feeder cable car, the large practice area Schneemannland delights visitors. Two magic carpets and a practice lift ensure rapid learning progress. The Skischule Klostertal offers courses in Schneemannland for children aged 3 to 5 who no longer need diapers. A lounge and playroom provide the best conditions for a successful holiday with children. Lunchtime supervision is also available here. For older children, the ski school offers additional courses.
