For skiing and snowboarding, there are 237 km of slopes available. 20 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 2,473 and 3,813 m.
Snowmass is the largest ski area of Aspen-Snowmass. From the valley town, Snowmass Village, almost exclusively gondolas and chairlifts provide access to the ski runs. The highest point in the ski area is "The Cirque" at 3,813 m. Easy slopes for beginners are found only in the valley area. From all mountain stations, intermediate slopes lead down, but in the upper section, challenging runs dominate. For freestylers, the winter sports area offers several fun parks and pipes.
