Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Snowbird

Snowbird is a paradise for advanced skiers and freeriders. The ski resort is known for its excellent snow quality and receives very high amounts of fresh snowfall. This regularly provides the best powder skiing conditions.

Numerous challenges await within the ski area boundaries: steep groomed and ungroomed slopes, mogul runs, powder slopes, descents through trees and forests (tree skiing), steep bowls, and cliffs. The powder slopes within the ski area boundaries are controlled, and you can practically ski anywhere.

Information for advanced skiers, freeriders
  • very many freeride/deep snow areas
  • many mogul slopes
  • many extremely difficult, steep and unprepared runs (Double Diamonds)

General note: Always mind the avalanche warnings and barriers, please. Never ski into a closed and unsecured area.
