The ski area at Schlossberg in Albstadt-Tailfingen is located in the southwest of the Swabian Jura. This popular winter sports area on the snow-sure north slope of the Tailfinger Schlossberg offers several runs for skiing and snowboarding. The family run is also suitable for beginners and children, while advanced skiers can carve down the intermediate alpine run. The slopes are groomed with a powerful piste machine. Schlossberg is also home to the first certified FIS downhill run in the Swabian Jura. The winter sports area also features a professionally maintained snow park and a spacious floodlight system. The ski area at Schlossberg, which has been managed on a voluntary basis by the Wintersportverein Tailfingen e. V. since 1964, also offers a cozy clubhouse and parking at the foot of the slopes.
