The entry point in Hofsgrund is accessible via a well-built mountain road. Parking is usually available at the Rosshang tow lift. You can also park in Horben near Freiburg and take the Schauinsland lift up to the ski resort, thereby avoiding the mountain road. There are only a few parking spaces at the Rotlache tow lift on the outskirts of Hofsgrund. Access via Autobahn A5 Basel-Frankfurt, Freiburg Centre
