The entry point in Hofsgrund can be reached via a well-developed mountain road. There are usually plenty of parking spaces available at the Rosshang drag lift. Alternatively, you can start in Horben near Freiburg, from where the Schauinslandbahn cable car takes you up. In this case, there is no significant incline or mountain road to consider on the way. At the Rotlache drag lift on the outskirts of Hofsgrund, there are only a few parking spaces. Access via Motorway A5 Basel-Frankfurt, Freiburg Mitte
