Access, Parking Savin Kuk – Žabljak
The ski resort of Savin Kuk is around 5 kilometres from Žabljak. It is located at the foot of the Durmitor mountain range in the north of Montenegro. It can be accessed from several directions on well-constructed roads. There are free car parks at the base station. The spaces can fill up very quickly on busy days.
Winter Closure
The mountain road P14 from Plužine via Pišče and Prevoj Sedlo to Pošćenski Kraj is closed in winter (warning: navigation devices often suggest this route and there are no warnings of the closure. It is only when you are up on the mountain that you find you can't go any further). From the west (Bosnia-Herzegovina), the recommended route is to take the E762 and P5 via Nikšić.
