At the mountain station of the Rofan cable car, there is an easy slope at the Wasserboden lift. The descent at the Rofan double chairlift is also well suited for slightly advanced beginners. In the village of Maurach (1 km from the Rofan cable car), the ski school Achensee-activ-Snowsports operates a beginner area (Bobo's Kinderland-Club).
