The high altitude in northern Sweden not only guarantees plenty of snow, but also a long ski season that extends well into spring. There is usually a continuous snow cover from October to June. Due to the long winter and extended nights, the ski season always starts at the end of February. The longer days in March, April, and May, with plenty of natural snow, are highly recommended. The season often continues until the midnight sun hardly sets anymore. This means you can actually enjoy winter sports in early summer wearing a T-shirt.
