New gondola lift with mid-station to Plose

The new 10-seater gondola lift from St. Andrä (Sant'Andrea) up to the Plose replaces the old 6-seater cable car on a modified route with a mid-station. Both sections of the new Plose lift are each equipped with a LEITNER DirectDrive LD9.

The mid-station is especially advantageous for skiers, as it allows them to ski only the upper part of the Trametsch, and it is also interesting for tobogganers, since the mid-station makes it possible to split the total 9 km long toboggan run. A descent from the mid-station is therefore conveniently possible if there is insufficient snow in the valley.

With the use of LEITNER Diamond EVO cabins, it is ensured all year round that athletes can fully enjoy their visit to the Plose. In winter, skis, toboggans, and more can be transported, while in summer, bikes and mountain carts can be shuttled to the mountain station.
