The ski resort Plauberg – Falkenau is located in the County of Mittelsachsen (Germany, Saxony (Sachsen)).
For skiing and snowboarding, there are 0.3 km of slopes available. 2 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 320 and 370 m.
Since 1979, there has been a ski lift on Plauer Berg in the Flöha district of Falkenau, which, however, could no longer be operated publicly after reunification due to legal regulations. In 2002, a new "TÜV"-approved lift was built in the Plauberg winter sports area, which is also open to the public. The wide slope is especially popular with families with children, beginners, and recreational skiers, who can enjoy skiing and snowboarding. Night skiing is also offered in the Plauberg ski area.
