Base to Base Gondola (Palisades-Alpine)

The new 8-seater gondola connects the two ski areas Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows. This means that the two ski areas merge to form the largest ski resort at Lake Tahoe. The new lift has two mid-stations. The ski area "Squaw Valley" has been renamed "Palisades Tahoe," so both parts of the ski area are now operated under a single name.
