Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Niseko United – Annupuri/Grand Hirafu/Hanazono/Niseko Village
The Niseko United ski resort is renowned far beyond its borders for its excellent snow conditions. A highlight is the deep-snow runs through the sparse forests and the mogul slopes. During the peak season, it snows almost daily, allowing visitors to enjoy fresh powder snow very often. Experiencing the "Japow" Japan Powder in the open forests is truly special. Several challenging and difficult slopes complete the offering. From the mountain station of the single chairlift King Lift #4, you can ascend to the summit of the 1,308 m high Mt. Niseko Annupuri and then carve your way down over beautiful, untouched slopes. Several ski schools offer special courses for advanced skiers and freeriders, including Hanazono Powder Guides and NVSS All Mountain Explorer. Catskiing is also available in Hanazono.
