Snowskating with Sled Dogs
At the Alpspitzbahn Nesselwang, you have the opportunity to try out a young sport: special equipment called Sled Dogs is used, which look like ski boots with a very short ski attached.If you can skate on ice or inline skates, you'll quickly get the hang of snowskates as well. According to the inventors from Norway and Austria, you can master the first steps and turns within just a few hours. All you need is the special shoe with an integrated running surface. The firmly mounted gliding surfaces are equipped with steel edges, providing grip on the snow. This means:
• Same technique as ice skating, ice hockey, and inline skating
• Minimal gear for maximum fun
• Internationally tested and proven in snow races
• Recommended by hockey and inline skating coaches
Sled Dogs can be rented and tried out at the base station of the Alpspitzbahn.
