In general, environmental protection plays an important role in the Nassfeld ski resort. For many years, the cable cars, lifts and snow production equipment on the Nassfeld have been operated using 100% environmentally friendly electricity or renewable energy. No skiing is permitted in flora and fauna protection areas. A sophisticated ski bus system greatly reduces private traffic.
