Beginners Nassfeld – Hermagor

The Nassfeld ski resort offers several excellent areas for beginners. In the valley area at Tröpolach, there is a magic carpet and a rope tow with easy slopes as well as a ski school. Around the Tressdorfer Alm, you’ll find a magic carpet, platter lifts with easy slopes, and a children's area run by the ski school. Beginners will also find platter lifts with easy slopes and a children's area at Sonnenalpe Nassfeld and at the Passo Pramollo pass. At Sonnleitn, there is also a ski school and easy slopes at the platter lift.

Outside the practice areas, the slopes are generally of intermediate difficulty, and it is not possible to ski the entire resort on easy slopes. However, many of the red runs are very wide and can be managed well by advanced beginners. Beginners starting from Tröpolach should take the Millennium-Express gondola down to the valley in the evening, as the long slopes, including the Carnia valley run, are not suitable for beginners.
