With numerous initiatives, Mt. Hotham is committed to protecting the unique biodiversity of the alpine region and ensuring that nature is preserved for future generations. Shuttle buses between Hotham and Dinner Plain are promoted. Waste is recycled in the ski area. However, some facilities are still powered by diesel.
