The Mölltaler Gletscher ski area is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park region. You can reach the Mölltaler Gletscher either via Spittal an der Drau (Tauern motorway), Lienz (from the north via the Felbertauern tunnel), or the ÖBB Tauernschleuse Böckstein-Mallnitz. From the village of Flattach, a well-developed 8 km mountain road leads up to the funicular railway parking lots. The parking lots are located right next to the entry point and are free of charge.
