Ski resorts Austria
Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Snow-reliable rating Mayrhofen – Penken/Ahorn/Rastkogel/Eggalm (Mountopolis)
The ski resort is very snow-sure. Most of the ski area is located above 1,600 m and is therefore naturally snow-reliable. In addition, almost all slopes are covered with artificial snow. However, the village of Mayrhofen itself is situated at 630 m and is therefore often less favored – but the valley run from Ahorn is excellently covered with artificial snow. Due to the terrain, there is no valley run from Penken down to Mayrhofen.
