The Marmot Basin ski area is very snow-sure. The season always starts as early as November and lasts until early May. The base station is one of the highest base stations in all of Canada. This means that the valley run is always open here. In the lower area of the Marmot Basin ski area, artificial snow can be used to supplement natural snowfall.
