Environmental protection of the ski resort Loser – Altaussee

The Loser ski resort is committed to environmental protection and prohibits skiing in the forests. The resort generates electricity with a photovoltaic system. In 2017, the energy efficiency of snowmaking was improved by using the Augstsee (a natural lake) and the new storage pond on the Sandlingalm, mainly through natural pressure. In addition, parking areas were reduced, which corresponds to the unsealing of 5,000 square meters. The huts mostly serve regional dishes.
