The new Kancamagus 8 eight-seater chairlift replaces the former Kancamagus four-seater chairlift in the Loon Mountain ski area. The lift is a D-Line from Doppelmayr and features 12 towers and 62 chairs with weather protection hoods. With a speed of 5.5 m/s, it is the fastest eight-seater chairlift in North America and the second eight-seater chairlift in the USA. The new lift shortens the ride time and increases transport capacity.
