The ski areas in Sälen are very family- and child-friendly. There are some children's areas and lots of easy slopes in Lindvallen and Högfjället. The children's areas feature funny Valle figures, moving carpets and some directly adjacent easy button lifts. A funslope in Lindvallen completes the offering. Between Exporiumtorget and Gustavtorget in Lindvallen, you can find the largest family and children's area in Scandinavia, with 20 practice lifts and 6 moving carpets. There is also a very attractive children's area in Högfjället directly below the Högfjellhotell. There are separate children's entrances at all ski lifts. The snowman Valle is always out and about in the ski resort and happily greets children.

Valleberget Lindvallen

The largest connected children’s area in Scandinavia is located in Lindvallen and extends from the Experiumtorget to the Gustavtorget. It has lots of button lifts and magic carpets for children. There are countless child-friendly slopes to choose from. Slalom courses and fun Valle figures complete the offering. There are also several hills for sledging and a playground.

Högfjället children’s area

The Högfjället ski area has a large children's area with several button lifts and a moving carpet. It is located directly below the Högfjellhotell. The Knattesvängen adventure area with fun figures is great entertainment for children. There is also a hill for sledging and a creche.

Sydpolen Lindvallen

The Sydpolen children's area is located at the base station of the Express 303 4-person chairlift at the Söderåstorget. A moving carpet and a button lift transport children up the mountain. Lots of fun Valle figures complete the offering.

Valletorget Lindvallen

The Valletorget is a popular meeting place for children. It is situated at the Valleberget in Lindvallen. In the adventure area, you can meet the snowman Valle and there is a large stage for music performances. It is great fun for kids.

Sälfjällstorget Lindvallen

The children’s area at the Sälfjällstorget is in a slightly quieter location on the edge of the ski area. It has button lifts and a magic carpet with child-friendly slopes. Children can practise their first turns in the snow in a peaceful setting here.
