The small mountain restaurants have a very welcoming atmosphere, and at the lifts, you usually have to help yourself. During the test, the personal service of the ski patrol in St Colomban was particularly impressive. The staff at the tourist information offices actively approach guests, and overall, English skills are not only common but also put into practice – which is not always the case in France.
