Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Kühtai
Kühtai has a lot to offer for advanced skiers and freeriders. Attractive black slopes can be found at the GaisKogel, WiesBerg, and HoheMut lifts. There is also a large unsecured freeride area with fantastic powder slopes. The location at 2,020 meters above sea level and above the tree line often guarantees the best conditions. The steeper terrain below the DreiSeen and GaisKogel lifts is particularly recommended. Avalanche transceiver checkpoints are available. Freeriding right up to your hotel door!
- many freeride/deep snow areas
- few mogul slopes
