At an altitude of 2,000 meters, this spectacular building not only offers a breathtaking panoramic view but also culinary experiences at the highest level. The restaurant features approximately 200 indoor seats and a bar area, as well as a large sun terrace with around 150 seats. An additional highlight is the "Ski -Drive- In," offering freshly prepared snacks and drinks for a quick stopover on the slopes.

Ghost Train: New adventure course at Kreischberg

In the 2019/20 winter season, the new adventure course "Geisterbahn" awaits: spooky figures along the edge of the slope provide fun and a bit of goosebumps.

Buy your Lieblings-Steirer ski passes online now!

Kreischberg and Lachtal customers can purchase their ski passes online. All you need is a Kreischberg or Lachtal Keycard, and nothing stands in the way of convenient purchasing—whether from home or on the go. This way, you can start your ski day without waiting in line at the ticket office.

New practice slope & new Dino Forest!

The "Kreischi-Lift" is extremely popular with children and beginners thanks to its ideal terrain. Starting next season, there will be even more space for those first turns: on the right side of the lift, there is now an additional wide, gentle practice slope.

A "must" for every family ski day is the Kreischberg Dino-Wald. It now connects directly to the new practice slope and features an exciting route through the pine forest.

2016/2017

Kreischberg: Two new slopes!

From the season 2016/17 the slopes on the World Cup mountain are even more diverse: On Rosenkranz two new slopes were built over the last summer months! The slope no. 10a (for insiders "Hirschenschuss") is a broad "red" slope, ideal for enjoyable carving turns. The slope no. 7a let the heart of the experts run faster. With this expansion the Kreischberg offers now 42 kilometers of slopes!

2015/2016

Winter hiking trails at Kreischberg

Hiking and walking in a magnificent winter landscape at 1,800 meters above sea level – this is possible from the 2015/16 winter season on two cleared and signposted winter hiking trails at Kreischberg! Both trails start at the mountain station of the Kreischberg six-seater gondola. The “Kreischberg See Runde” is a leisurely one-hour walk around the Kreischberg Speichersee, the heart of the snowmaking system. The “Zirben Wanderweg” leads through the pine forest over to the valley station of the Rosenkranz Lifte; this hike takes about 2 hours in total. Just like skiing or snowboarding, there are plenty of opportunities to stop for refreshments along both of these hiking trails!

Snowpark Kreischberg

In the year following the spectacular 2015 Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships, Kreischberg offers a newly designed and professionally managed fun park! The "Snowpark Kreischberg" is located at 1,900 meters above sea level in the area of the "Sunshine Lifte." It consists of a "Medium Line" and a "Beginner Line," and the small halfpipe from the early days of the freestyle scene at Kreischberg is also integrated into the "Snowpark Kreischberg."

Even more snow reliability

During the summer months of 2015, there is a lot of digging going on at Kreischberg: at "Rosenkranz," the last gap in the snowmaking system on the World Championship mountain is being closed over a length of 1.5 km. This means that practically the entire Kreischberg ski area can now be covered with artificial snow!
