The merger of Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn with the 3K K-onnection has made the range of slopes even more diverse. At Kitzsteinhorn, you’ll find runs of all levels of difficulty. Everything is available, from wide and easy glacier runs to steep slopes. Routes and off-piste powder slopes complete the offering. Maiskogel offers many very wide and easy slopes, making it ideal for families, beginners, and ski schools. But there are also red and black slopes here. The valley run leads directly to Kaprun and is very wide.

There is no valley run at the Kitzsteinhorn. You can ski down to the Langwiedboden at around 2,000 m. From there, you continue into the valley with the Gletscherjet or with the 3K K-onnection to the mountain station of the Maiskogel. From the Maiskogel, a valley run leads directly to Kaprun and ends at the start of the MK Maiskogelbahn.

From the mountain station of the Gletscherjet 4, you can ski all the way down to Langwiedboden without stopping. - Maiskogel (Almbahn) valley station Kaprun · Length 7 km · Elevation difference 962 m
From the mountain station of the Almbahn at Maiskogel, you can ski the entire length directly down to the valley in Kaprun.
Most difficult run
- Black Mamba (No. 14) · Length 1 km · Elevation difference 290 m
The Black Mamba has a gradient of up to 63%, making it really steep. It starts at the valley station of the Kristallbahn and ends at the Langwiedboden.

The Kristallbahn runs offer a great length and, with the comfortable lift, are perfect for repeat runs. - Maurergletscher descent 5b
The Maurergletscherabfahrt 5b is certainly challenging, but ideal for anyone who is confident on their skis and appreciates a sporty descent. - Schmiedinger slope 3a
Wonderful slope for carving! The 8-seater Schmiedinger chairlift takes you comfortably back up. - Sauloch slope 32
The beautiful wide slope starts at the Almbahn on the Maiskogel.
