Beginners Kitzsteinhorn/Maiskogel – Kaprun
The wide and gentle glacier slopes on the Kitzsteinhorn are ideal for beginners. Beginners can ski from the glacier plateau down to the Alpincenter on easy slopes. However, beginners are advised to take the gondola for the final section down to Langwiedboden. The slopes on the Maiskogel are also very well suited for beginners. Easy runs lead from the mountain station all the way down to the valley. The easy slopes are ideally accessible with the MK Maiskogelbahn, a 10-seater gondola lift with a mid-station. At the mid-station, you'll also find the Maisilift platter lift, which provides access to very easy slopes for practicing.
