Snow reliability KitzSki – Kitzbühel/Kirchberg

The season in Kitzbühel usually begins as early as November. The record was set on 14 October 2017, on a slope on the Resterhöhe. The resort’s favourable position forming a north-west barrier on the main Alpine ridge ensures very good snow reliability. Comprehensive snow-making facilities and grooming guarantee first-class skiing. Almost all slopes are fully equipped with snow cannons. On the Streif, the Seidlalm reservoir with a capacity of around 150,000 m3 ensures very reliable snow conditions all the way down to Kitzbühel. Most of the ski slopes on the Hahnenkamm extend from 1,500 m up to almost 2,000 m and at the Thurn Pass from 1,200 m to 2,000 m.
