Snow reliability KitzSki – Kitzbühel/Kirchberg

The season in Kitzbühel usually begins as early as November. The record was set on 14 October 2017, on a slope on the Resterhöhe. The resort’s favourable position forming a north-west barrier on the main Alpine ridge ensures very good snow reliability. Comprehensive snow-making facilities and grooming guarantee first-class skiing. Almost all slopes are fully equipped with snow cannons. On the Streif, the Seidlalm reservoir with a capacity of around 150,000 m3 ensures very reliable snow conditions all the way down to Kitzbühel. Most of the ski slopes on the Hahnenkamm extend from 1,500 metres up to almost 2,000 metres and at the Thurn Pass from 1,200 metres to 2,000 metres.
