1/22 Ski slopes Kaunertal Glacier (Kaunertaler Gletscher)
The Kaunertal Glacier offers a diverse range of slopes. The glacier slopes are very wide, and you won't find crowded runs here. Numerous easy, intermediate, and difficult slopes delight visitors. With the Black Ibex, the steepest slope in Austria with an 87.85% gradient is located here. The steep section is truly extreme.
In 2021, the ski area around the Weißseejoch was expanded with wonderful additional slopes and freeride options. The panorama of the snowy mountain world at the Kaunertal Glacier is unique and breathtaking. The slopes at the three mountain stations all start at over 3,000 meters, right on the Austrian-Italian border.
