Skiing Jenner – Schönau am Königssee

The ski resort Jenner – Schönau am Königssee is located in Berchtesgadener Land (Germany, Bavaria (Bayern), Upper Bavaria (Oberbayern)). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 4.3 km of slopes and 3.5 km of ski routes available. 5 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 630 and 1,800 m.

The decision was taken to reduce the offering for skiers from the 2023/24 season. The Jennerbahn, a 10-person gondola lift, still starts in the district of Königssee in the municipality of Schönau am Königssee and travels up to 1,800 metres. No slopes are now prepared or artificial snow produced between the mountain station and the middle station of the Jennerbahn lift. Freeriders enjoy the ski route and powder slopes here.

The slopes below the middle station and at the Jennerwiesenbahn 6-person chairlift are groomed and artificial snow is produced here. The valley run, the slopes around the middle station and the practice area in the valley are available here.

In the ski resort of Jenner, you can enjoy amazing views of beautiful mountain landscapes in modern restaurants with large sun terraces and in cosy mountain huts.
