Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole is the ski resort for experts and is well known in the scene. There are hardly any other ski resorts with so many challenging runs, chutes, rock passages, and endless powder slopes. Thanks to its location in Wyoming, Jackson Hole offers extremely dry and light snow (Cowboy Powder), which is especially appreciated by freeriders. The highlight is Corbet’s Couloir: legendary, steep, and spectacular. The entry is via a vertical rock drop, making it not for the faint-hearted. Backcountry skiing is also possible, and you can leave the ski area through secured access gates.
- very many freeride/deep snow areas
