Waiting times at the double chairliftDescription Hohenbogen – Neukirchen bei Hl. Blut
Above Neukirchen bei Hl. Blut, about 2 km from the village, the double chairlift starts its ascent to the 1050m high Hohen Bogen. During the 10-minute ride, you pass the mid-station, which is also the starting point for the toboggan run (summer toboggan run and natural winter toboggan run). At the top, several intermediate, wide forest runs as well as the challenging Schönblickhang run are available. The Schönblickhang run branches off from the main run via a narrow forest path to Haus Schönblick and then descends very steeply (not groomed) to the top station of the Brünnlhang drag lift. The drag lift serves easy slopes in the valley area and is ideal for beginners. A rope lift in the practice area completes the offer for beginners. The rustic mountain lodge at Hohen Bogen is highly recommended; you can enjoy specialties from the Bavarian Forest by the tiled stove.
The intermediate runs lead directly below the chairlift, as well as to the left and right down to the valley. At the valley station, there is the Liftstüberl for refreshments and a small mulled wine stand with music. Three times a week, you can ski from the top station down the longest floodlit slope in the Bavarian Forest back to the valley station.
