The Hohe Lied ski area near Gellinghausen was located directly on the L 776 between Westernbödefeld and Bad Fredeburg, surrounded by forests and meadows. At the valley station of the Hohe Lied ski lifts, the spacious ski lodge invited visitors to stop for refreshments. Unfortunately, ski operations were discontinued in 2023 and the area has been converted into a bike park.
