The Hochoetz ski resort is located at the entrance to the Ötztal valley. From the exit of the A12 Inntal motorway, you can reach the base station of the Acherkogelbahn in just a few minutes. There are plenty of paid parking spaces available there. Another access point is in Ochsengarten. Winter Closure
The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road (connecting the end of the Ötztal valley with Italy/South Tyrol) is closed from October to May.

- Ski buses run from Oetz, Habichen, Piburg, and Sautens directly to the valley station in Oetz. The newly established ski bus stop is located right next to the gondola lift. From Haiming and Haimingerberg, a ski bus goes to Ochsengarten. There are also ski buses between Ochsengarten and Kühtai, as well as additional ski buses and regular buses that can be used free of charge with a valid ski pass throughout the Ötztal.
